Aisling Millar's Art Gallery
This website is to showcase the artwork that I have created over the years. My interests are as diverse as my artwork, from painting and drawing to ceramics and sculpture. Irish culture, inner emotions and fears, and positive and negative space are some of the themes that are present within my artwork.
Molding a three-dimensional form with the clay is my passion; however, painting and drawing has been my profession for approximately 7 years. I have also creating other artworks such as wood burnings.
As an artist I welcome critique of both positive and negative nature on the artwork and the website.
I am presently a student at the University of North Florida seeking a Bachelor's in Fine Arts in Ceramics and Sculpture. I received a Bachelor's in Art Education from the University of North Florida in 2005 and presently teach at Lake Forest Elementary School of the Arts in Duval County. As a student and a teacher, I continue to learn, experiment, and create art of all forms.
I am a member of the Jacksonville Coalition for the Visual Arts, Golden Key International Honour Society, National Educators Association, the Florida Art Educators Association, Duval Art Teachers Association, and the Duval County Teachers Union.
